100 Years of Secrets
Patent date: August 28, 1906
Imagine the stories these file cabinets could tell.
They’re going to become one of the centerpieces of my new office when I move in next month. The office will be decorated entirely with antiques I love.
The color alone draws a person back into time. Touch it and you are connected, your mind the portal, the richness of wood the key.
Posted by Keith on 03/15 at 10:53 AMOh, I am enchanted. And yes, it would be a shame to scrub all that patina off.
Posted by Bakerina on 03/15 at 03:57 PMi’d rather think of all the stories that it could hold.
Posted by goliard on 03/16 at 05:08 AMWill hold.
Posted by 'mouse on 03/16 at 10:04 AMIs it empty ‘mouse? My mind is bubbling at the thought of what might be inside. Maybe there’s just a tiny little mouse and some dust…

Posted by limine on 03/22 at 12:02 AMThey are delightful… I have minimal plans for the weekend but now, after a chance look at your blog, I might make time to go to some second hand/antique stores and spend some quality time touching and inhaling old furniture… and… maybe books.
